Key Duties
- Strategic Support: Assist the MD in developing and implementing departmental plans and goals. Track progress toward objectives and ensure key tasks are completed efficiently.
- Project Management: Support the MD in managing projects and initiatives by completing assigned tasks, monitoring the progress of tasks assigned to other staff, and providing regular updates.
- Daily Operations: Work with the MD to coordinate and supervise daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. Proactively address any issues that arise.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, management, staff, and production teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the team.
- Document Management: Organize and file important documents, take notes during meetings, and deliver messages to the MD to ensure seamless communication and record-keeping.
- Presentation and Reporting: Prepare and present departmental information to clients, leadership, and shareholders, effectively communicating key updates and insights.
- Compliance and Quality Standards: Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with relevant regulations and quality standards. Create and maintain internal documents and processes to streamline operations.
- Problem Solving: Utilize critical thinking skills to identify challenges and implement solutions that improve productivity and operational efficiency.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience as an assistant director, assistant to senior management, or in a similar role.
- Expertise in performance and operations management.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office, relational databases, and software (e.g., ERP).
- Outstanding communication and public speaking skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
