Credit Controller – Maternity FTC

£22,000 – £25,000 per annum


We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller for a FTC with an established company in Bracknell. As part of the finance team, you will have strong communication skills with the ability to build good relationships and be proactive in the collection of balances due on accounts.

Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: 12-14 month maternity contract

A Brief Outline of Key Responsibilities include:

  • Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
  • Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers’ credit rankings with banks
  • Responding to customer enquiries timely and efficiently
  • Managing the sales ledger
  • Maintaining / updating customer details
  • Complete daily banking (BACS & Cheques)
  • Processing and reconciliation of invoices
  • Opening / setting up new accounts

Key attributes/qualifications and experience we’re looking for:

  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work to under pressure
  • Previous experience working in a Credit Control/Sales Ledger environment
  • A proactive worker who can work independently
  • Meticulous with strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good IT skills with strong working knowledge of MS Office – experience using Access Dimensions would be beneficial
