£18,000 – £22,000 per annum

My client are looking for a dynamic and experienced Event Organiser/Coordinator to join our reputable and award-winning business based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

They are looking for a dynamic and energetic candidate with huge passion and previous experience as either an Event organiser or Event coordinator; ideally with relevant qualification in the industry and a full, clean driving licence (due to location).

Most important skills required from the Event Organiser/Coordinator

  • Engaging personality
  • Previous experience of managing events/activities from start to finish
  • Extremely organised with the ability to deliver world class customer service
  • Creative and the ability to work to own initiatives
  • Ideally previous experience dealing with luxury brand/high end customers

Main duties of the Event Organiser/Coordinator

  • Provide support to the whole department
  • Overall management of the events including Health and Safety, licensing and insurance elements.
  • Responsibility for the safety and welfare of everyone at the event, including contractors, staff, colleagues, clients, guests, volunteers and the public
  • Dealing with high end customers
  • Dealing with luxury items/brand
  • Overseeing the events from start to finish
  • Prepare relevant paperwork for events
  • Client communication
  • Upselling venue
  • Managing event diary
  • Fully coordinate the event
  • Provide clear communication between all departments
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times

Requirements from the ideal Event Organiser/Coordinator

  • Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Previous experience of managing sport related events from start to finish
  • Passion for outdoors and sports
  • High level of skills re: Microsoft Office, administration, IT
  • Ability to think on your feet and use your initiative
  • Enjoy learning new things and can quickly adapt when things change
  • Natural at building rapport
  • Attention to detail and highly organised
  • Stay focused and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Problem solving skills and finding creative solutions to challenges
  • Patient, energetic, level headed, team player and stay calm under pressure
